Common Threads Volunteer Orientation - Fall Gardening Season

Come learn about how a small investment of your time can have a great impact on the lives of kids in Whatcom County schools - we are seeking volunteers to assist our Food Educators during their Fall garden lessons in Bellingham School District, Mt Baker School District, Cascadia Elementary (Ferndale), and Fisher Elementary (Lynden). 

Volunteers are needed during our teaching hours, which are Mondays-Thursdays 8:00am-2:30pm in Bellingham, or 3:00pm in other districts. Thursdays are early release in Bellingham. 

Volunteers will help lead a station in the garden and assist with group management. 

We encourage volunteers with an interest/experience in working with kids and gardens to attend this orientation!
